about

Totally obsessed.

lyrics

I'm in love but I'm not obsessed,
I don't need to see her undressed.
I just wanted things to stay like this,
Where I'm the only one she would miss.

I know it's strong and it's strange,
I don't love her cos she's deranged.
We arn't in love for the pain
Why couldn't things just that way?

So dig deep and dig some more
Dig til your hands are raw
Dig til you just can't dig no more.

Cos in my mind you'll see
Nothing that isn't me.
Nothing I don't want you to see.

Cos all that we really need
Is someone to love and to please.
I'm glad that you have somebody
I'm just sad that it's not me.

And it's my absolute right
To kill myself if I like.
I won't let her do it to herself,
Her life holds too much of my wealth.

I'm in love but I'm not obsessed.
We could be knight and princess.
She's not like any of the rest.
She's all I want to express.
She's not there when I'm distressed.
She makes me feel like I'm blessed.
She lets me know I exist.
She makes me feel like a guest.
She takes my heart I'm possessed.
She makes me feel so depressed.
She holds me close to her chest.
She makes me feel at my best.
She loves me when I'm a mess.
She makes me feel a success.
She'll never give me a yes.

This time.

about

Barabajagal Dunedin, New Zealand

Barabajagal are a band who make music.

It's pretty ok stuff really.

It's rooted in psychedelia but incorporates so many genres that it doesn't really seem too definable. But it's ok with that.

Despite being a kiwi band the songwriter is actually rather English, so whenever he sings you'd be hard pressed to go "wow, those kiwis huh". Still, New Zealand-ish.

Pronounced Bah-Rabba-Jaggle.
