about

A song that dated in less than a week. Impressive record - but good rock single material.

lyrics

Down in the streets of London Town,
Another shop hits the ground,
White hart lanes a red hot flame
Down in the street of London town

Down in the streets of London town,
Another cop hits the ground

Taken over the underground,
Facebooks drawn another crowd,
Morlocks creep out at night,
Taken over the underground.

Taken over the underground,
Looking stupid but feeling proud.

Riots in london.
Where has Cameron gone?
Riots in london.
Where has the police gone?

Take it out on the happy few,
Just another pointless view,
Frustrations at social gains
Take it out on the happy few.

Take it out on the happy few,
Who call to arms, with their brooms.

Riots in london.
Where has Cameron gone?
Riots in london.
Where has the police gone?

about

Barabajagal Dunedin, New Zealand

Barabajagal are a band who make music.

It's pretty ok stuff really.

It's rooted in psychedelia but incorporates so many genres that it doesn't really seem too definable. But it's ok with that.

Despite being a kiwi band the songwriter is actually rather English, so whenever he sings you'd be hard pressed to go "wow, those kiwis huh". Still, New Zealand-ish.

Pronounced Bah-Rabba-Jaggle.
