about

A song about excess and blind hedonism. BAM! Pointed description.

lyrics

Looking out your stain glass view
You just see what you want to.
Red and green and yellow ,blue
Sunny days and sunny nights.

You have run off with your girl
Under every sunset in the world.
And you spend a summer there
Getting bugs trapped in your hair.

But you really do not mind,
You're having a lovely time.
Now all that you have are these
Sunny days and sunny nights.

Night time brings the sun again
Sleep is over rated anyway.
And you can roll in the hay
With your girlfriend and her dog.

Just ignore your sneezing fits
Go take your inhaler hit
Now all that you have are these
Sunny days and sunny nights.

Maybe it's time to go home
And enjoy some free time of your own.
It's quite late not that you'd know
Cos it's sunny day and night.

You thought that it would be fun,
If all that you had was sun
And all that you have are these
Sunny days and sunny nights.

Now all that you have are these
Sunny days and sunny nights.
Sunny days and sunny nights.
Sunny days and sunny nights.

about

Barabajagal Dunedin, New Zealand

Barabajagal are a band who make music.

It's pretty ok stuff really.

It's rooted in psychedelia but incorporates so many genres that it doesn't really seem too definable. But it's ok with that.

Despite being a kiwi band the songwriter is actually rather English, so whenever he sings you'd be hard pressed to go "wow, those kiwis huh". Still, New Zealand-ish.

Pronounced Bah-Rabba-Jaggle.
