about

Never grow old, but if you have to, never look back in anger.

lyrics

I like to listen to music
It helps me pass the time.
Sometime I find I use it
To think of what was mine.

See your smile
Fall far behind.

I never used my mirror,
Until it was you.
And though your frame was silver
It had a turquoise hue.

See your smile
Fall far behind.

There were days that we could meet
And we'd take each one in hand.
But it could never be so sweet
And now I'm in another land.

See your smile
Fall far behind.

You have left me a painting
And I keep it on my wall
I still stay up waiting
For another missed call.

See your smile
Fall far behind.

Sometime I listen to music
And it's that song you liked
While I don't know the reason
I find it's kinda nice.

See your smile
Fall far behind.

If I was a poet
I'd have written you any line
And though you may not know it
I'm singing for you this time.

See your smile
Fall far behind.

I wondered that if I could fly
I'd have gone to your door
Where I'd have watched your eyes
As I'd quoth "Nevermore".

See your smile
Fall far behind.

You used to my someone
And I was somebody
It was then I felt like I had won
But now I darn't bare to see.

See your smile
Fall far behind.

I heard you're carving a future
Well I'm making mine too
A life's a big adventure
And part of mine was you.

See your smile
Fall far behind.
Your smile
So far behind me.

about

Barabajagal Dunedin, New Zealand

Barabajagal are a band who make music.

It's pretty ok stuff really.

It's rooted in psychedelia but incorporates so many genres that it doesn't really seem too definable. But it's ok with that.

Despite being a kiwi band the songwriter is actually rather English, so whenever he sings you'd be hard pressed to go "wow, those kiwis huh". Still, New Zealand-ish.

Pronounced Bah-Rabba-Jaggle.
